book by Louis Sachar – Holes tells a complex story simply and beautifully, and with rich credible characters.
I think I did more work for the character development on this than on the finshed drawings, which I only pursued for the very first scenes of the book, but here they are anyway.
That’s as far as I got with the illustrations.
We are still in the very early scene-setting stage of the story, but you can see the other work I did for character design here.
